    I wonder what the frogs think when a big bright light comes down from above, out of nowhere. Aliens? 🙂 I love all those night time sounds of nature. It's dead quiet where I live. Just the odd flutter of something in the trees. No insect or frog noises. The sounds around you remind me of when I lived in Africa. Your video makes great background noise, thank you 🙂

    I love old mechanical and electro-mechanical objects, as well as very early electronic equipment with tubes (from typewriters, clocks, and telegraph instruments to early radios, radio equipment, and hi-fis). I only "sort of" got into trains after visiting a railroad museum in 5th grade. Today, I own my own handcar, but unfortunately, I have no place to use it since all the tracks around here are out of bounds.

      I find old vintage electromechanical stuff fascinating too. Old vacuum tube electronics is so interesting as well as old mechanical stuff. It's amazing how engineers designed things like typewriters over a century ago. Sych brilliant minds. That sounds exciting ownibg a hand car. Did you build it? Can it run on a railroad? Sometimes I wish I coukd afford a house with land because if I did, I would try to build a mini railroad out of scratch.

    • @alvenhchanne
      @alvenhchanne 14 дней назад

      @@electron2601 Yes, I built my own handcar and it's designed to run on standard width (gauge) railroad tracks. The wheels are old 20" Fairmont MOW wheels and it's possible that they could have come from original handcars.

    Can identify. Was offered a great job, but involved complex calls. Got through it by keeping notes about the interactions until the patterns emerged. Discovered the interactions were commonly just seven topics; two of which were brought up 80% of the time. Later converted my notes into training modules; leading to a promotion. After being on the phone all these years for work has helped me handle calling the bank and other person business I struggled with. I encourage everyone to see if there is a way you can systematize your way through.

    This video made a lot of sense to me. It was to the point and I really liked that. He also helped me figure out some things about myself. There's actually not a lot of videos explaining how people with autism and or ADHD on how to take care of themselves or how to figure it out. I had to look at a lot of neurotypical videos and annoyed me because they kept putting their personal experiences for a lot of the video and it was super repetitive. As 3e, I know it's even a name, but having myself late diagnosis of ADHD and autism, sounds like a bless to me. Really. But being very up above gifted is really another different brain in itself. Yes I got sucess in academic, I am not weak, ankward nor non creative. I studied Mathematical and computational theoretical physics because it was supposed to be hard. If I tell that it wasn't them I get a snob reaction. If people praise me on any "accomplishment" I can't tell anything but the truth. How can you admire you haven't a faintest idea what you are talking about? Proof is not even my peers like those things so deeply. What I felt since as a kid was I definitely didn't wanted to be human. My passion and curiosity are overwhelming, dealing with overfocus, hearing every now and then that I don't give attention or something like that is what hurts most. If given me a choice, I wouldn't design another human like myself. It's too much. I love others, but certainly I annoy myself 10x more than others, usually with monologuing thinking out loud, I can't tell the difference. Getting up every single day without knowing if I slept, because it's just feels like I at the same day. Or the opposite, creating a compelling reason to exist today is not good. But also is, I guess, the reason of stuff I do. If given a choice I would certainly choose to have -20 IQ points and still be somewhat gifted but not so tired of being. When Elon Musk says, most people don't want to be me, he isn't kidding. I only enjoy myself when I disappear, but again, the result is usually results in research, music, code, anything. Everything I do feels like I didn't. The music is nice, because I can hear like it's not mine. anyways. Strong support for all of us. I know most of us don't make it. I do my best to raise awareness about neurodivergent and neurodiversity as different beings, not disorders. At least the world should be aware that some of us do for free what most achievers don't do in a lifetimes work. If I made it somehow, and still do. While feeling that I don't even started on something intellectually challenging. Others deserve respect. I just want to rest, be a salesman or something. But anyway. Be proud if proud you should, because you all must be. And feel special in the good way, because you all are. And not only, you are really really unique, not just different. That's the mathematical definition of exceptional by the way.

    • @electron2601
      @electron2601 16 дней назад

      You sound like you've accomplished a lot and I think that is amazing. Yeah I think rest, downtime, and the chance to be creative- let your soul speak so to speak is important and not to worry what others think about you. In the end there opinions don't matter.

Me: Because it reduces the mental dissonance between how I think I’m expected to behave, how others think I’m expected to behave, and how I actually should behave; And with all that stacked against me under such microscopic scrutiny, how am I supposed to be myself? And so I with no other option, escape into imagination or the intellect. Either that, or gratifying forms of entertainment stimuli. And with family being wrong, friends being wrong, partners being wrong, and society writ large having even fewer answers, It seemed the most sensible thing to do;

    I definitely relate, I can only wear none genetically modified cotton jeans which were stopped being made in 1984, it is so difficult to find them today. My autism & sensory processing became more hyper-sensitive as I gotten older. People should never enforce rules on autistic people, I don't respond to other's narcissistic rules, autism gives me the ability to become none verbal so I do not have to respond, In the state I live at, autistic people can have have "speech impediment" put on their driver's license, so they do not have to respond to law enforcement.

    The baiting/boudary testing and gaslighting are basically one dance. Keep violating boundaries until you react, then reverse blame, play victim and gaslight you that you are the one in the wrong, shame you and get you to submit to their moral authority to control you, use you for everything you are worth. The crazy part is that it starts with genuine idealization. They fall in love with you, in some sense, or with their own reflection in your eyes, by showing you their idealized vision of you in their eyes. (Like a vampire, they feed you a little bit while they feed on you.) But they dont trust anyone and they cannot have a genuine connection so they start to protect themselves. They test your boundaries and however you respond feeds into a paranoid, defensive projection that devalues their image of you. They cant help any of this. The important thing to understand is that none of it is personal. They dont have authentic connections so they don't have an authentic self. (The self is relational.) You are just a reflecting pool into which they poor their self deception and self hatred. Dont take it personally. No contact or grey rock need to be followed up with getting them out of your head. It was not a real connection and nothing about it is personal. They would do the same thing with anyone if they can. The true self of the narcissist is a wounded child who you will never ever meet. No one ever will. What you interacted was living in a real person, but not one Autistic people are used to being told that we are wrong and being inappropriate, so we are vulnerable to this form of abuse so be careful out there! Good video! We need to spread the word

    Boundaries. Tell them "no" where it is your right to do so. Do it kindly, casually, firmly. Watch closely what hapens. Is there a reaction or a payback? Narcissists violate boundaries a little bit at a time and stick with the people who let it happen until they use them up.
